Hammond 1760CGPW 100W Paper-Wound Output Transformer for TSL100 Amps

The 1760CGPW is a 100 watt push-pull output transformer for tube guitar amplifiers, listed in the Marshall section of the 1750 Series ordering table for the TSL100. It is aimed at technicians who need a drop in replacement output transformer that keeps the character of the original unit.

This paper wound transformer has a 2,200 ohm center-tapped primary and 4, 8 and 16 ohm secondaries. The drawing gives a frequency response of 50Hz to 12kHz (±1db, 1kHz reference). Electrical test data lists excitation current of 13.2mA maximum at 240V, 50Hz (brown-blue). With 240V, 50Hz applied brown-blue, no-load voltages are 120.0V on brown-red and red-blue, 10.32V on black-orange, 14.64V on black-yellow and 20.64V on black-green, each ±2%. Polarity (blue, black) is additive.

DC resistances at 20°C are 26.19 (brown-red), 29.28 (red-blue), 0.102 (black-orange), 0.134 (black-yellow) and 0.183 (black-green), each ±20%. The primary-to-secondary hipot test is 2500V, 60Hz for 1 second. Secondary leads are black (common), orange (4), yellow (8) and green (16); primary leads are brown, red (center tap) and blue. All leads come out at least 12 in and are stripped 0.5 in.

Drawing dimensions are A 3.750 in, B 5.041 in, C 4.530 in, D 3.000 in, E 3.500 in and F 4.625 in, with 0.281 x 0.563 in slots. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The 1760CGPW is RoHS and REACH compliant.
