Hammond 1750RA 100W 8 Ohm Output Transformer for Bassmaster YBA-1A

The 1750RA is a tube guitar amplifier output transformer designed as a drop-in replacement for original units such as Yorkville Sound/Traynor* A-1303, used in the Bassmaster YBA-1A. It is aimed at technicians restoring these bass amps who want published electrical data to verify against the original.

Typical electrical characteristics are a 3800 Ohm input impedance, an 8 Ohm output impedance and 100 W output power. Frequency response is 65Hz - 12KHz (±1dB @ 1KHz reference), and distortion is less than 1% across the full frequency range. Primary inductance (Blue-Brown) is 14H with a 93K Ohm impedance at 1.0 kHz, 1.0 V OC, and primary leakage inductance is 27.08 mH at 1.0 kHz, 1.0 V SC. Dielectric strength is 2500VRMS and the temperature range is up to 105 degC.

The unit is an open style transformer with a paper core and minimum 15" long primary and secondary leads. It was constructed to look similar to the original factory unit where possible, with materials and design specifications kept close to the original to preserve the stock tone. Overall drawing dimensions are 3.125", 3.686", 3.796", 2.500" and 2.438", with 0.203 x 0.400" mounting slots.

The 1750RA also carries old Hammond part number 112533, ships at 7 lbs (3.18 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Results are typical and subject to normal manufacturing and electrical tolerances. Hammond Mfg. is not affiliated with Yorkville/Traynor.
