Hammond 170GE 1500VA Enclosed Autotransformer, 115/230VAC Hard Wired

The 170GE is a 1500VA enclosed, hard wired autotransformer for electricians, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need a voltage change between 115VAC and 230VAC. It steps down from 230VAC to 115VAC or steps up from 115VAC to 230VAC, with 50 or 60 Hz operation for flexible worldwide applications.

As a single-winding design the 170GE does not provide isolation; it is intended for equipment that is already isolated where only the voltage needs to change. It does not convert line frequency.
