Hammond 166T24 24V CT 12A Power Transformer, 288 VA, 117V 50/60 Hz

The 166T24 is the 288 VA top end of the 166 Series: a power transformer with a 117 V, 50/60 Hz primary and a 24 V centre-tapped secondary rated at 12 A. The 50/60 Hz primary rating and 288 VA capacity make it suited to larger low-voltage supplies in industrial controls, audio and OEM equipment.

Construction follows the 166 Series design: an open style unit on a channel bracket, a dual bobbin winding arrangement that needs no electrostatic shield, and Class B insulation rated to 130 °C for extra protection, while the transformer is UL listed as a Class A (105 °C) design.
