Hammond 166M16 16V C.T. 3A 48VA Power Transformer

The 166M16 is a low voltage/filament power transformer from the 166 Series, rated 48 VA with a 115V 60 Hz. primary and a 16 V center-tapped (C.T.) secondary rated 3 A RMS. It is built for OEM engineers, panel builders and repair technicians who need an open style, channel bracket, two hole chassis mount transformer to derive a low AC voltage inside equipment. The manufacturer drawing for the 166M16 adds test data: exciting current of 125 mA max at 115V 60 Hz, a no-load secondary of 17.60 V ±2% across the full winding, and a primary-to-secondary hipot of 2000V, 60 Hz for 1 second.
