Hammond 161H10 24VA 10V CT Vertical PCB Transformer, 115V

The 161H10 is a low voltage, P.C. board mount vertical power transformer from the 160-161 Series, built for OEM engineers and designers who need a board-level AC supply from a 115V line. It is rated 24 VA with a single 115V primary for 60 Hz operation only, the economical single-primary version of the dual-primary (115/230V, 50/60 Hz) part 160H10.

As the lowest-voltage member of the 24 VA group, it provides 10V centre-tapped at 2.4 A, or 5V at 4.8 A when the secondaries are wired in parallel, the highest parallel current listed in the 161 range. Secondary ratings are given in RMS values.

Construction is a vertical mount, split bobbin design, and the 24 VA size in this series is non-concentric wound. Low primary to secondary coupling means no electrostatic shield is required. Insulation is Class B (130 degrees C) with a hipot rating of 2,000V RMS.

In the series mechanical data for the 161 Series, the 24 VA size lists overall dimensions A 1.63 in, B 2.25 in and C 1.38 in, with a G dimension of 0.40 in. The part ships at 0.82 lbs (0.37 kg).
