The 161C16 is a low voltage, vertical PC board mount power transformer with a economical single 115V primary for 60 Hz only. Rated 0.5 VA, it is intended for low-current auxiliary supplies, bias rails and small control circuits on a printed circuit board.
The secondary is made of two windings. Connected in series they deliver 16V C.T. @ 31.3ma; connected in parallel they deliver 8V @ 62.5ma. The 16V center-tapped secondary is one of 20 output voltages the series offers between 5 and 120VAC RMS.
