Hammond 1597DIN9MDC53 DIN 9 Closed Top and Terminals Rail Enclosure

The 1597DIN9MDC53 is an Italtronic DIN 9 enclosure in the 1597DM Series with a closed top and closed terminals on both sides. As a DIN 9 size it is among the widest housings in the series, for larger printed circuit boards and DIN rail mounted electronics behind a closed face.

The base and cover are RAL7035 light grey PPO with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Snap closures remove the need for hardware, and the integrated DIN rail mounting clip fits standard 35mm DIN rail. The purchased enclosure includes base, cover and DIN clip.

The part page lists the size as 3.54 in x 6.28 in x 2.28 in (90 mm x 160 mm x 58 mm), while the series ordering table gives 90 mm length, 155 mm width and 58 mm depth; confirm against the drawing where width is critical. Shipping weight is 0.22 lbs (0.10 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
