Hammond 1597DIN6MDH68 DIN 6 Tall 73 mm Open Top Rail Enclosure

The 1597DIN6MDH68 is the tall Italtronic DIN 6 enclosure in the 1597DM Series, with an open top and open terminals on both sides. With a 73 mm depth rather than 58 mm, it gives additional height for taller components on wide DIN rail mounted PCB assemblies.

It is made of RAL7035 light grey PPO with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Snap closures mean no hardware is needed, and the integrated clip mounts it on standard 35mm DIN rail. Base, cover and DIN clip are included with the purchased enclosure.

Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 4.17 in x 2.87 in (90 mm x 106 mm x 73 mm), with a shipping weight of 0.16 lbs (0.07 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The drawing lists four DIN 6 top covers, not included: 1597D6MPH gray, 1597D6MPHR gray with inlay, 1597D6MPTPC clear with inlay and 1597D6MPTPL clear top panel cover. Also listed are terminal covers 1597D3MTC (blank closed), 1597D3MTC6 (with holes), 1597D3MTCKO (with punch-out holes), 1597D3MBC (with bus connector) and 1597D3MTCP (blank open), the 1597D4MADP bread board and the 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
