Hammond 1597DIN6MDH53 DIN 6 Open Top and Terminals Rail Enclosure

The 1597DIN6MDH53 is an Italtronic DIN 6 enclosure in the 1597DM Series with an open top and open terminals on both sides. At 106 mm wide it accommodates wider PCB assemblies and DIN rail mounted electronics needing terminal access on both sides.

The housing is RAL7035 light grey PPO rated UL94 V-0. Snap closures allow assembly without hardware, and the integrated DIN rail mounting clip fits standard 35mm DIN rail. The purchased enclosure includes base, cover and DIN clip.

Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 4.17 in x 2.28 in (90 mm x 106 mm x 58 mm), and shipping weight is 0.14 lbs (0.06 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The drawing lists four DIN 6 top covers, not included: 1597D6MPH gray, 1597D6MPHR gray with inlay, 1597D6MPTPC clear with inlay and 1597D6MPTPL clear top panel cover. It also lists terminal covers 1597D3MTC (blank closed), 1597D3MTC6 (with holes), 1597D3MTCKO (with punch-out holes), 1597D3MBC (with bus connector) and 1597D3MTCP (blank open), the 1597D4MADP bread board and the 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
