Hammond 1593NIR10 Infrared End Panels for 1593N Cases, 10-Pack

The 1593NIR10 is a pack of ten infrared end panels made for the 1593N handheld enclosures (1593NBK, 1593NGY and 1593NTBU), the wide 1593 size designed to house smart card readers. The panels replace the standard flat or contoured plastic end panels supplied with the enclosure wherever an infrared panel is needed, and they come ten to a pack for production or spares.

Each panel is transparent red polycarbonate with a UL94 HB flame rating. The part page lists the size as 2.71 x 0.78 x 0.06 in (69 x 20 x 2 mm), in line with the 68.75 x 19.85 x 1.50 mm end panel shown on the 1593N drawing.

The pack is shrink wrapped, weighs 0.04 lbs (0.02 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The series accessory table pairs the 1593NIR10 with 1593NAL10 aluminum panels, 1593QS100/1593QS100BK assembly screws and 1593ATS50 PC board screws for enclosures beginning with 1593N.

Because the panels are polycarbonate, follow the series chemical resistance guidance: avoid acetone, ketones, ethers, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, thread locking compounds, cutting or tapping fluid and strong solvents, and use only cleaners listed as plastic safe.
