Hammond 1593HAMEGG2TPU Translucent Purple Raspberry Pi Holder Base, ABS

The 1593HAMEGG2TPU is a translucent purple ABS holder that mounts a Raspberry Pi on screw posts laid out to the Model B and Model B+ hole pattern. It is an open, easy-access base for makers, teachers and engineers working on Pi projects.

Molded from general purpose ABS in translucent purple with a UL94 HB flame rating, the holder measures 5.71 in x 3.94 in x 1.3 in (145 mm x 100 mm x 33 mm); the drawing gives 145.10 mm x 100.10 mm x 33.00 mm overall. Its screw posts match the Raspberry Pi Model B and Model B+ hole pattern, and every post accepts an M2.6 x 6 mm self-tapping screw. The recommended screw torque is 26-34 ozf.in (20-25 cN.m).

The drawing also shows space under the base for a printed circuit board up to 112.66 mm x 72.87 mm [4.44 in x 2.87 in]; that PCB is not supplied. Optional battery holder kits for three AAA cells (BH3AAAW) or four AAA cells (BH4AAAW) are listed as accessories, along with spare M2.6 x 6 mm screws (SC519-50).
