Hammond 1593HAMDOGGY Light Gray BeagleBone White Enclosure, ABS Plastic

The 1593HAMDOGGY is a light gray ABS case designed for the BeagleBone (white). It gives makers, labs and OEM engineers a neat housing with openings for the board's I/O connectors and often-used controls and LEDs.

Molded in general purpose ABS plastic with a satin texture and rated UL94 HB, the 1593HAMDOGGY measures 3.75 in x 3.04 in x 1.18 in (95 mm x 77 mm x 30 mm). Inside, the drawing gives an inner length of 87.37 mm [3.44 in], inner width of 71.43 mm [2.81 in] and inner height of 23.90 mm [0.94 in], with board mounting posts 7.00 mm [0.28 in] high.

Top access cutouts are provided for the USB, micro SD, Ethernet, power supply, mini USB connections, so cables and cards can be reached with the lid closed. The case is secured with self-tapping screws at a recommended torque of 75 ozf.in / 55 cN.m.

In the box: top and bottom covers, front and rear end panels, 4 cover screws, 4 PCB screws, 4 clear self-adhesive rubber feet and an instruction sheet. The board is not included. The enclosure is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.13 lbs (0.06 kg). A version without cutouts is offered in the 1593 series (1593BB). Avoid acetone, thread-locking compounds and strong solvents on the ABS.
