Hammond 1593DALGY 114x36mm Slim Light Gray Handheld ABS Enclosure

The 1593DALGY is a long, narrow handheld enclosure in light gray ABS plastic from the 1593AL series. At 114.00 mm long and just 35.70 mm wide, the 1593D shape suits slim probes, wands, remote sensors and other instruments built around a narrow printed circuit board.

Per the manufacturer drawing, overall dimensions are 114.00 x 35.70 x 25.80 mm (4.49 x 1.41 x 1.02 in), while the part page lists a nominal size of 4.5 x 1.4 x 1 in (114 x 36 x 25 mm). Inside, the cavity measures 103.80 mm long, 29.76 mm wide and 19.80 mm high. A recessed inlay of 100.70 x 23.90 mm, 0.50 mm deep, takes a membrane label or keypad.

Molded from general purpose ABS (UL94 HB) with a satin texture, the enclosure uses lap joint construction for protection against dust and splashing water and carries an IP54 rating; there is no battery door. Two flat aluminum end panels (1.63 mm thick) close the front and rear, and the covers are secured with two self-tapping cover screws at a recommended torque of 57 lbf-in (40 cN-m). The gray version is supplied with nickel finish cover screws.

The 1593DALGY is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg). The P.C. board is not supplied. Matching accessories include 1593DAL10 aluminum panels, 1593DIR10 infrared panels, 1593ATS50 P.C. board screws and the 1599CLIP / 1599CLIPGY belt clip.
