The 1593BBTBU is the translucent blue model of the 1593BB hand held instrument enclosure. Listed at 3.75 in x 3 in x 1.18 in (95 mm x 76 mm x 30 mm), it is shaped for a comfortable fit in the hand and intended for portable electronic instruments built on a printed circuit board.
Construction is general purpose ABS with a satin texture, UL94 HB rated, molded in transparent blue. The enclosure has two removable end panels and no battery door, and is designed to meet IP54. Its recessed top features an 88.00 mm x 66.00 mm inlay for a membrane display or pad. Self-tapping screws hold the halves together, and transparent blue enclosures include black finish screws.
Available internal space is 87.20 mm long, 71.43 mm wide and 23.90 mm high, with a maximum recommended PCB of 86.00 mm x 70.00 mm (not supplied). PCB bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws. Recommended torque is 40 cN-m [57 ozf-in] for cover screws and 20-30 cN-m [29-42 ozf-in] for internal mounting screws.
The 1593BBTBU is supplied with top and bottom cover, two flat plastic front and rear panels and four cover screws in shrink wrap. Translucent blue flat panels (1593BBLTBU-10), infrared panels (1593BBIR10), 1593BBAL10 panels and belt clips are listed accessories. RoHS and REACH compliant.
