The 1593BBGY is the light gray version of the 1593BB hand held instrument enclosure, measuring 3.75 in x 3 in x 1.18 in (95 mm x 76 mm x 30 mm). It gives electronics engineers an ergonomically designed, palm-sized housing for a printed circuit board.
It is molded in general purpose ABS with a satin texture, carrying a UL94 HB rating. The case has two removable end panels and no battery door, so it is designed to meet IP54. The top is recessed, with an 88.00 mm x 66.00 mm inlay for a membrane display or pad. Assembly uses self-tapping screws, and gray enclosures include nickel finish screws.
Inside, the 1593BBGY offers 87.20 mm x 71.43 mm x 23.90 mm. Circuit boards up to 86.00 mm x 70.00 mm are recommended (board not supplied) and mount on bosses accepting #4 self-tapping screws. Recommended torque is 40 cN-m on cover screws and 20-30 cN-m on internal mounting screws.
The enclosure ships in shrink wrap with top and bottom cover, two flat plastic end panels and four cover screws. Listed accessories include grey flat panels (1593BBLGY-10), infrared panels (1593BBIR10), 1593BBAL10 panels, 1593QS100 silver cover screws and the gray nylon belt clip 1599CLIPGY. RoHS and REACH compliant.
