Hammond 1593ARALTBU 75x74x27mm Transparent Blue Enclosure, Aluminum Panels

The 1593ARALTBU is the compact 1593AR size from the 1593AL series of ABS plastic hand held and instrument enclosures, supplied with aluminum end panels in place of plastic ones. Molded in transparent blue general purpose ABS with a satin texture, it is suited to small PCB-based devices where the end panels will carry connectors, switches or indicators.

The part page gives a size of 2.95 x 2.91 x 1.06 in (75 x 74 x 27 mm); the series table lists 74 mm length, 76 mm width and 27 mm depth. The drawing shows an inside length of 67.01 mm, inside width of 67.89 mm and inside height of 22.00 mm, with an end panel thickness of 1.63 mm and a recessed top inlay of 68.69 x 66.69 mm for a membrane display or keypad.

Each assembly includes the top and bottom cover, 2 flat aluminum panels for the front and rear, and 2 cover screws, with a recommended cover screw torque of 57lbf-in (40cN-m) as stated on the drawing. The transparent blue version is supplied with black finish screws. Internal bosses accept #2.6 self-tapping screws, and SC519-50 M2.6 x 6mm P.C. board screws are listed as an accessory.

Lap joint construction provides protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the 1593ARALTBU carries an IP54 rating and UL94 HB flame rating. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in shrink wrap at 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg). Spare aluminum panels (1593ARAL10), IR panels (1593ARIR10), cover screws and a nylon belt clip are available.
