Hammond 1592ETV Nylon Hook and Loop Mounting Strip for T-Cases

The 1592ETV is the hook and loop mounting strip for the 1592 Series "T" display enclosures. The back of every 1592 case is designed to accept either a magnetic strip or a hook and loop fabric mounting tab, and this part is the hook and loop option, listed by the manufacturer as a Velcro strip.

The strip is made of nylon and ships in a bag. It is useful where an instrument or mobile data unit needs to be attached to, and removed from, a surface without magnets. The alternative magnetic mounting strip is 1592ETM, and the series also offers a gasket kit (1592ETG) and rubber feet (1592ETRF).

It fits the 1592ETCDBK and 1592ETCDGY clear lens display cases and the 1592ETSDBK and 1592ETSDGY solid display cases, which are molded from flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0.

For context, the 1592 T-cases are offered with either a solid display area of 122 mm x 85 mm (4.8" x 3.4"), which accommodates display boards up to 118 mm x 60 mm, or an opening with a 102 mm x 45 mm clear polycarbonate lens and plain mylar mask kit. Each case measures 130 mm across the display end and 95 mm across the keyboard section, with a 235 mm length.
