The 1591Z50 is a package of 50 black PC board card adaptors for 1591 series ABS enclosures. The 1591 enclosures are designed for vertical board mounting in their molded card guides; these adaptors allow printed circuit boards to be mounted horizontally within the enclosure instead. The package of 50 suits small production runs where several enclosures are being fitted out.
The adaptors are molded from flame retardant ABS plastic rated UL94 V-0, in black, and are intended to be cut to fit. The drawing shows a length of 52.20 mm (2.06 in).
Installation follows the card adaptor instructions: attach the clips to the PC board on the same level, align the small tabs on the clips with the slots on the box, and insert the board assembly into the box. The clips are then cut 2.1-2.5 mm from the top of the box, and the cover screws are installed to the recommended torque of 42-57 ozf.in (30-40 cN.m). Recommended PCB thickness is 1.5-1.75 mm.
