The 1591XXUFLBK is the black flanged-lid version of the square U-size 1591XX enclosure, molded in UL94 V-0 flame retardant ABS with four countersunk flange holes for wall or shelf mounting. It is aimed at electronics designers and OEM engineers.
The box and flanged lid are molded from flame retardant ABS (FRABS) carrying a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, in a black textured finish. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm (M3-0.5) Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass inserts, suited to repeated opening and closing. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, 4 cover screws and installed brass inserts; black enclosures come with black screws. The enclosure is designed to meet IP54, providing protection against access of dust and splashing water.
Outside, the drawing gives 123.50 mm [4.86 in] long, 123.50 mm [4.86 in] wide and 59.90 mm [2.36 in] high, with the flanged lid extending the overall length to 147.36 mm [5.80 in]. Inside there is 115.66 mm [4.55 in] of length, 115.66 mm [4.55 in] of width and 55.40 mm [2.18 in] of height, with a 2.00 mm [.08 in] wall. The largest PCB listed for this part is 114 mm x 114 mm, and it can be fitted in the box or in the lid; the board is not supplied.
