The 1591XXUBK is the square U-size model of the 1591XX series, a black flame retardant ABS box with a 115.66 x 115.66 mm inside floor for square circuit board assemblies. It is aimed at electronics designers and OEM engineers.
The box and lid are molded from flame retardant ABS (FRABS) carrying a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, in a black textured finish. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm (M3-0.5) Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass inserts, suited to repeated opening and closing. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, 4 cover screws and installed brass inserts; black enclosures come with black screws. The enclosure is designed to meet IP54, providing protection against access of dust and splashing water.
Outside, the drawing gives 123.50 mm [4.86 in] long, 123.50 mm [4.86 in] wide and 59.90 mm [2.36 in] high.
