Hammond 1591TC Clear Polycarbonate Lid for 120x80mm Enclosures

The 1591TC is a clear polycarbonate lid made to fit 1591T enclosures in the 1591 Series of ABS multipurpose boxes with card guides. It gives electronics designers, OEM builders and hobbyists a transparent alternative to the enclosure's standard lid.

The lid measures 4.72 in x 3.16 in x 0.24 in (120 mm x 80 mm x 6 mm) and carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating. It is listed with an IP54 rating and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It is a lid only; the enclosure body is sold separately.

In the series ordering tables, the 1591TC is the clear lid accessory for the 4.72 in (120 mm) x 3.15 in (80 mm) x 2.32 in (59 mm) 1591T size, both for enclosures without mounting flanges (1591TBK, 1591TGY, 1591TSBK, 1591TSGY) and for the flanged versions (1591TFLBK, 1591TFLGY, 1591TSFLBK, 1591TF2BK, 1591TF2GY, 1591TF2SBK, 1591TF2SGY).

The lid ships shrink wrapped with a shipping weight of 0.07 lbs (0.03 kg). It is listed as a flame retardant polycarbonate lid only in the 1591T accessories. Its listed length and width, 120 mm x 80 mm, match the nominal length and width of the 1591T enclosures it is made to fit, while the ABS enclosure bodies themselves are sold as separate part numbers.
