Hammond 1591SC Clear Polycarbonate Lid for 110x82mm Enclosures

The 1591SC is a clear polycarbonate lid made to fit 1591S enclosures in the 1591 Series of ABS multipurpose boxes with card guides. It gives electronics designers, OEM builders and hobbyists a transparent alternative to the enclosure's standard lid.

The lid measures 4.34 in x 3.24 in x 0.24 in (110 mm x 82 mm x 6 mm) and carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating. It is listed with an IP54 rating and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It is a lid only; the enclosure body is sold separately.

In the series ordering tables, the 1591SC is the clear lid accessory for the 4.33 in (110 mm) x 3.23 in (82 mm) x 1.73 in (44 mm) 1591S size, both for enclosures without mounting flanges (1591SBK, 1591SGY, 1591SSBK, 1591SSGY) and for the flanged versions (1591SFLBK, 1591SFLGY, 1591SSFLBK, 1591SF2BK, 1591SF2GY, 1591SF2SBK, 1591SF2SGY).

The lid ships shrink wrapped with a shipping weight of 0.06 lbs (0.03 kg). The drawing lists it under Clear Lids - Flame Retardant as a polycarbonate lid only. Its listed length and width, 110 mm x 82 mm, match the nominal length and width of the 1591S enclosures it is made to fit, while the ABS enclosure bodies themselves are sold as separate part numbers.
