The 1591HBG is a beige flame retardant ABS enclosure in the long, slim 1591H size, measuring 6.52 in x 2.79 in x 1.14 in (166 mm x 71 mm x 29 mm). It suits electronics designers and OEMs who need a narrow project box that holds circuit boards vertically on molded card guides.

The enclosure is molded from easy-to-machine flame retardant ABS carrying a UL94 V-0 rating. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water and is designed to meet IP54. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings, so it tolerates repeated opening; recommended torque is 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m).
Each 1591HBG includes box, lid, 6 cover screws and pre-installed brass inserts, packed in shrink wrap at 0.22 lbs (0.10 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant, the 1591HC clear polycarbonate lid is available for this size, and the factory offers milling, drilling and printing on quotation.
