Hammond 1591GFLGY 121x94x34 mm Flanged Lid FR Abs Enclosure, Light Gray

The 1591GFLGY is a light gray flame retardant ABS enclosure in the 1591G size with wall mounting flanges molded into the lid. The body measures 4.74 in x 3.69 in x 1.34 in (120 mm x 94 mm x 34 mm), giving integrators and OEM engineers a compact housing that fastens straight to a wall or panel.

Over the lid flanges the enclosure is 145.70 mm [5.736 in] long, with 134.40 mm [5.291 in] between the flange mounting holes; the drawing shows an overall height of 33.80 mm [1.331 in]. Interior dimensions are 116.26 mm [4.577 in] x 87.36 mm [3.439 in] x 29.90 mm [1.177 in]. Card guides molded into all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062 in) boards for vertical mounting.

This part is molded from flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into pre-installed brass inserts; the drawing gives a recommended torque of 42-57 ozf.in (30-40 cN.m). This light gray version ships with nickel finish screws. The lid also accepts #4 self-tapping screws for mounting a PC board (1593ATS50 / 1593ATS100).
