Hammond 1591GF2GY 121x94x34 mm Bottom Flange FR Abs Enclosure, Light Gray

The 1591GF2GY is a light gray flame retardant ABS enclosure in the 1591G size with an accessory mounting flange attached to the bottom. The body measures 4.74 in x 3.69 in x 1.34 in (120 mm x 94 mm x 34 mm), making it a compact option for integrators and OEMs who want to screw a PCB housing down to a panel or chassis.

The bottom flange brings overall length to 145.90 mm [5.744 in], with 134.20 mm [5.283 in] between the flange mounting holes, and overall height to 35.50 mm [1.398 in]. Inside, the box measures 114.26 mm [4.498 in] x 87.36 mm [3.439 in] x 29.90 mm [1.177 in]. Card guides molded into all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062 in) boards for vertical mounting, and 1591Z adaptors allow horizontal boards.

This part is molded from easy-to-machine flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into pre-installed brass inserts, suited to repeated assembly and disassembly, at a recommended 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m). This light gray version ships with nickel finish screws.

The 1591GF2GY ships in shrink wrap with box, lid and 4 cover screws plus pre-installed brass inserts, at a shipping weight of 0.27 lbs (0.12 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the 1591GC clear polycarbonate lid fits this size.
