Hammond 1591EBU 191x110x61 mm Blue Flame-Retardant ABS Enclosure

The 1591EBU is a blue ABS plastic case and lid in the 1591E size, 191 x 110 x 61 mm (7.5 x 4.35 x 2.39 in). A distinct blue housing helps colour-code equipment or give a product a recognisable look, and the integral card guides make it a ready-made home for vertically mounted circuit boards.

The 1591E drawing lists the blue version as flame retardant ABS (UL94 V-0), matching the part page flame rating. The lid fastens with six M3-0.5 x 10 mm machine screws into pre-installed brass inserts for repeated access, torqued to 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m). Lap joint construction and an IP54 design protect against dust and splashing water.
