Hammond 1591AF2BK 100x50x25mm Bottom-Flange Black FR Abs Enclosure

The 1591AF2BK is the bottom-flanged, black, flame retardant version of the 1591A enclosure. The accessory flange attached to the bottom gives OEM builders and integrators a way to fasten this small card-guide enclosure to a panel or surface.

The enclosure body is 100 x 50 x 25 mm (3.94 x 1.97 x 0.98 in); with the flange, the drawing shows an overall length of 125.30 mm [4.933 in] and an overall height of 26.30 mm [1.035 in]. Inside dimensions are about 93.83 mm long, 43.83 mm wide and 20.90 mm high. Card guides molded into all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062") boards for vertical mounting, and the 1591Z card adaptors allow horizontal mounting.

It is molded from flame retardant ABS with a UL94 V-0 rating. The purchased assembly includes box, lid, four cover screws and pre-installed brass inserts; the lid fastens with M3 - 0.5 machine screws, and black enclosures include black screws. The recommended torque is 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m). Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54.

The grey equivalent is 1591AF2GY, and general purpose bottom-flange versions are 1591AF2SBK and 1591AF2SGY. The 1591AC clear polycarbonate lid fits. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant and has a shipping weight of 0.13 lbs (0.06 kg).
