Hammond 1590Z080PL 89 x 87 mm Galvanized Steel Inner Mounting Panel

The 1590Z080PL is the inner mounting panel for the 100 x 100 x 80 mm 1590Z080 diecast aluminum enclosures. It gives OEM engineers and panel builders a flat, drillable steel plate on which to mount PC boards, terminal blocks and components before dropping the assembly onto the enclosure's internal mounting shelf.

The drawing specifies 16 gauge galvanized steel. The panel measures 89.00 x 87.00 mm (3.50 x 3.43 in), listed on the part page as 3.5 x 3.43 x 0.06 in (89 x 87 x 2 mm). Its corners carry a 1.59 x 45.0 degree chamfer and an R6.00 mm [R.24 in] radius.

In the series ordering table, the 1590Z080PL is the inner panel for the 1590Z080, 1590Z080BK and 1590Z080GY enclosures, all of which have an internal mounting shelf. The same table lists SCGM4-50 as the extra panel screws for this size. The 1590Z Series notes that inner panels are sold separately from the enclosures.

Like its enclosures, the panel can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing), and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t format. It ships in a bag with a shipping weight of 0.19 lbs (0.09 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
