The 1590WPF is the water-tight 1590P diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged bottom plate, in natural unpainted aluminum. It is suited to installers and OEM engineers who need a sealed, IP65-designed housing that fastens directly to a panel, wall or equipment frame.
Box and lid are die-cast aluminum alloy and the bottom flange is welded. The natural version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction and a silicone gasket, supplied loose inside the enclosure rather than pre-installed, seal the lid.
Nominal size is 153 x 83 x 50 mm (6.02 x 3.27 x 1.97 in). Including the flange, the drawing shows an overall length of 179.53 mm [7.068 in] and an overall height of 51.90 mm [2.043 in]. The interior is 146.29 mm [5.759 in] long, 73.98 mm [2.913 in] wide and 45.40 mm [1.787 in] high, and the internal ribs accept a P.C. board up to 143.22 x 73.12 mm.
