Hammond 1590WB3FL 116x77x38mm IP65 Diecast Box, Wall-Mount Flanged Lid

The 1590WB3FL is the watertight 1590B3 enclosure with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. Its natural aluminum body is 116 x 77 x 38 mm nominal and reaches IP65 with the supplied silicone gasket. It suits installers who want an enclosure that fixes to a wall or panel through its lid.

The box and lid are made from diecast aluminum alloy, which is tough yet easy to machine, and carry a natural aluminum finish that is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. A lap joint where lid and box meet guards against dust and splashing water, and a side wall draft angle of 2° or less eases PC board mounting. The maximum P.C. board dimensions listed for this part are 69.67 mm and 108.67 mm.

Recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in], or 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with the gasket fitted. Replacement gasket kit 1590B3GASKET holds two pre-formed, adhesive-backed silicone gaskets.
