Hammond 1590TRPCCB Cobalt Blue Wide Trapezoid Painted Diecast Stomp Box

The 1590TRPCCB is a wide trapezoid painted diecast aluminum stomp box enclosure, finished in a deep cobalt blue powder coat matched to RAL 5013. At 151 mm across its large end and 95 mm long, it is laid out wide rather than long, giving pedal builders and effects experimenters room for a row of controls or multiple footswitches on the lid.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, a tough material that is still easy to machine. The smooth glossy polyester powder coat gives a lasting finish, even after machining, and accepts labels or silk screening easily. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws that thread into 6-32 UNC holes; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m (71-78 ozf.in), or 25-30 cN.m (36-43 ozf.in) with a gasket.
