Hammond 1590TRPBOR Orange Narrow Trapezoid Diecast Stomp Box

The 1590TRPBOR is a narrow trapezoid painted diecast aluminum stomp box enclosure, powder coated in an orange finish matched to RAL 2009. The tapered outline, 62 mm wide at the small end and 79 mm at the large end, gives pedal builders and effects experimenters a vintage-style alternative to a plain rectangular box without giving up a 112 mm length.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, a tough material that is still easy to machine. The smooth glossy polyester powder coat gives a lasting finish, even after machining, and accepts labels or silk screening easily. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws that thread into 6-32 UNC holes; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m (71-78 ozf.in), or 25-30 cN.m (36-43 ozf.in) with a gasket.
