Hammond 1590STPCCB Cobalt Blue Octagon Painted Diecast Stomp Box

The 1590STPCCB is an octagon-shaped painted diecast aluminum stomp box enclosure in a deep cobalt blue powder coat matched to RAL 5013. Its 133 mm (5.24 in) length and unusual eight-sided outline give pedal builders and effects experimenters a larger, distinctive housing for multi-control circuits, finished at the factory so it is ready to machine.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, a tough material that is still easy to machine. The smooth glossy polyester powder coat gives a lasting finish, even after machining, and accepts labels or silk screening easily. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws that thread into 6-32 UNC holes; recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m (71-78 ozf.in), or 25-30 cN.m (36-43 ozf.in) with a gasket.
