The 1590BB is a natural finish diecast aluminum enclosure with a nominal size of 120 x 94 x 34 mm and no mounting flanges. Its wide, low footprint makes it a practical general-purpose electronic instrument housing for OEM engineers, technicians and integrators who need a rugged, machinable box.
Box and lid are made from diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine. The unpainted version is vibra finished for a smooth surface with no sharp edges, and lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against access of dust and splashing water. The standard 1590BB is designed to meet IP54.
