Hammond 1588T12A1BK 77-Inch 12-Outlet Vertical PDU, Pilot Light

The 1588T12A1BK is a 77-inch vertical basic PDU (outlet strip) with twelve NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is built for IT, AV and electrical installers who need full-height power distribution inside a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally for bench and workshop use.

This version of the strip uses a power indicator light rather than a rocker switch, together with a resettable circuit breaker, so technicians can confirm power at a glance. All twelve outlets face the front of the strip; there are no rear outlets, no surge protection module, no metering and the receptacles are not rotated. Receptacles are 1 inch square and are equally spaced along the length of the extrusion.

Construction is a low-profile, rugged and lightweight aluminum extrusion finished in black paint, with ABS plastic end caps. The strip measures 77.00 in (1956 mm) nominal, with an overall assembly length of 77.472 in (1967.79 mm) on the drawing. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg). An integral 6 ft heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord with moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug is included; the 14 gauge cord is suited to extreme temperature ranges.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is supplied with 1588T12A1BK for vertical installation; additional hardware kits are available as part number 1585CLIP. The strip is cULus recognised under UL File E166039, UL Listed to UL1363 and CSA Certified to C22.2 (No. 21-95, 42-99), and is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA. It is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America.
