Hammond 1586H20A1 60-Inch Vertical Power Strip, 20 Outlets, 15A

The 1586H20A1 is a 60 in. (1524 mm) vertical basic PDU from the Hammond 1585-6-7-8 Series, rated 15 amps at 120 volts single-phase with 20 NEMA 5-15R outlets. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical professionals who need to distribute standard 120V branch power down the mounting rail of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench.

The strip uses a low-profile slim design constructed of rugged lightweight aluminum in a natural finish. Receptacles are 1 in. square and are equally spaced over the length of the power strip, so the 20 outlets are distributed across the full 60 in. body rather than clustered at one end. This version is the "H" configuration with a rocker on-off switch; the equivalent pilot-light model is 1586T20A1.

Power is supplied by a heavy duty 14 gauge cord - 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges - with an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug, in a 6 ft length. This part number is not surge protected. Shipping weight is 4.7 lbs (2.13 kg).

Each outlet strip includes a hardware mounting kit; additional kits can be ordered as P/N 1585CLIP (Vertical Outlet Strip Mounting Clip Kit). The 1586H20A1 is UL/cUL Listed to UL 1363, CSA C22.2 No. 308-14 and CSA C22.2 No. 0.4-04 under UL file E166039, is TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA, USMCA compliant).
