Hammond 1585T15A1 48-Inch Vertical PDU, 15 Outlets, Pilot Light

The 1585T15A1 is a 48 inch vertical basic power distribution unit with 15 NEMA 5-15R outlets, rated 125VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps. It is intended for IT, AV and electrical trades who need to distribute single-phase 120V power up the full height of a rack or cabinet, and it can also be laid horizontally on a workbench. This version uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on-off rocker switch, and includes a resettable circuit breaker.

Construction is a low-profile slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, keeping the unit rugged but lightweight. All 15 receptacles face the front (none on the rear), are 1 inch square, and are equally spaced over the length of the strip at a typical 63.50 mm (2.500 in) pitch. The finish on this part number is Natural, and shipping weight is 3.5 lbs (1.59 kg).

Power comes from an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug on a heavy-duty 14/3 SJT cord, 6 feet long, suited to extreme temperature ranges. The strip length is 48.00 in (1219 mm), with drawing overall dimensions of 1231.09 mm (48.468 in) including the end assembly.
