Hammond 1585T10B1S 48in 10-Outlet Vertical PDU with Surge, 15ft Cord

The 1585T10B1S is a 48 in (1219 mm) vertical basic PDU with surge protection, built for IT, AV and facilities teams that need clean, protected 120 V distribution inside a rack or cabinet. It provides ten NEMA 5-15R outlets on the front face, rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 amps, and is fed by an integral 15 ft cord with a molded NEMA 5-15P straight blade plug.

Construction is a low-profile, slim anodized aluminum extrusion with ABS plastic end caps, finished in Natural. The 1 in square receptacles are equally spaced over the length of the strip, and a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker is built in. This version uses a power indicator (pilot) light rather than an on/off switch, plus a separate green surge indicator light that confirms the surge module is active.

Surge performance is rated at 1080 J maximum energy with 25,000 amp MOVs for a total of 75,000 amps of single-pulse transient current, a Voltage Protection Rating (Vpr) of 500 V in all three modes (L-N, L-G, N-G) and a nominal discharge current (In) of 5 kA. If the surge module reaches the end of its useful life, internal protection disconnects it and extinguishes the green light while power to the load is maintained, now unprotected.

A mounting bracket kit with hardware is included, so the 1585T10B1S can be installed in server cabinets, wall mount cabinets or open frame racks, or mounted horizontally above a work bench. Additional hardware is available as P/N 1585CLIP. The unit is cULus Listed to UL 1449 & C22.2 No. 269.3-17 (Type 3 SPD) and UL 1363 & C22.2 No. 308-18 for relocatable power taps, is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in North America.
