Hammond 1583T8D1BKX 1U 15A 8-Outlet PDU, Locking Plug, Black

The 1583T8D1BKX is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU rated 15A at 120 VAC, built for IT, AV and industrial racks where equipment needs to be fed from both the front and rear of the rack. It provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, split two facing the front and six facing the rear, plus a red power indicator light (no on/off switch) so technicians can confirm the strip is live at a glance.

Power is supplied through an integral 15 ft cord terminated in a NEMA L5-15P locking plug, which twists into a matching receptacle to resist accidental disconnection. The cord is heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT type for extreme temperature ranges, with an integral moulded plug. A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker on the panel guards against accidental overload.

The steel housing measures 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep and mounts in a standard 19-inch rack using four 0.250 in x 0.375 in slots on 18.320 in centres, with rack flanges spanning the full 19.00 in width. Shipping weight is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg).
