Hammond 1583T8B1BKX 1U 8-Outlet 15A Rack PDU, 15 ft Cord

The 1583T8B1BKX is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU rated 15A at 120 VAC, built for IT, AV and industrial equipment racks that need straightforward single-phase power distribution. It provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets split between two front-facing and six rear-facing receptacles, so patch-panel side gear and chassis mounted at the rear can both be fed from the same strip.

This version uses a red power indicator light rather than an on/off switch, keeping the load energized whenever the cord is plugged in. A 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker is built in to guard against accidental overload. Power comes from an integral moulded NEMA 5-15P straight-blade plug on a heavy-duty 15 ft, 14/3 SJT type cord rated for extreme temperature ranges.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with a shipping weight of 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg). The black finish is RAL9005 powder coat, which complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
