The 155T is a D.C. reactor, or filter choke, from the 153-159 Series of low to medium current chokes, rated 0.5H (+/- 15%) at 300 ma. D.C. current. It is intended for engineers and technicians building or repairing power supplies, and the series is described as perfect for high voltage power supply filtering. The 155T is the high-current 155 part, rated 0.5H at 300 ma. with only 30 ohms of resistance and a 400 V DC maximum.
Electrically it offers 30 ohms of D.C. resistance with a 15% tolerance on both inductance and resistance, and a 400 V DC maximum operating rating. Because inductance is specified at rated current, the unit shows less inductance at slightly higher currents and more at lower ones.
The choke is built on an open bracket channel frame and vacuum impregnated with polyurethane varnish for quiet, long-life operation. Each unit is 100% Hipot tested at 1,500 VAC and supplied with leads at least 5" long.
