Hammond 1556DPL 104 mm Square Natural Aluminum Inner Mounting Panel

The 1556DPL is a natural aluminum inner panel for the Hammond 1556 Series modern general purpose enclosures. It is the accessory panel listed for the 1556D (120 x 120 x 45 mm) and 1556DA (120 x 120 x 70 mm) enclosures in black, light gray and white, and gives OEM engineers and integrators a flat metal plate for mounting components, modules or a PC board inside the housing instead of fastening directly to the plastic.

The part page lists a nominal size of 104 x 104 x 2 mm (4.1 x 4.1 x 0.08 in), while the drawing dimensions the panel at 105.00 x 105.00 mm [4.13 in] with a 2.05 mm [.08 in] thickness, R8.00 mm [R.31 in] corner radii and a 2.00 x 45.0° chamfer. The 105 mm drawing size lines up with the 105 x 105 mm maximum P.C. board size of the 1556D and 1556DA enclosures.

The 1556 enclosures provide multiple mounting locations inside the lid and base that allow easy PC board mounting or can be used with Hammond aluminum panels such as the 1556DPL. Panels are sold separately from the enclosures. The panel ships in shrink wrap with a shipping weight of 0.12 lbs (0.05 kg).

The 1556DPL is RoHS and REACH compliant. Solid models are available in .stp or .x_t format, and Hammond can factory modify parts (milling, drilling, printing) on request through its modification shop.
