Hammond 1554UL2GY 200x120x45mm Gray Polycarbonate NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1554UL2GY is the shallow 45 mm high member of the 200 x 120 mm polycarbonate range, with a solid light gray (RAL 7035) body and lid. It is well suited to flat assemblies such as a single PC board or a row of DIN rail components where a low overall height matters, in indoor or outdoor installations.

The solid gray polycarbonate carries a UL94 5VA flame rating, is UV stabilized for outdoor use and is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. The part page lists IP68, and the series polycarbonate versions have been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 plus NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021 and the recommended range is -40°C to +110°C.

Inside, the drawing shows 192.98 mm of length, 112.98 mm of width and 39.15 mm of height; the overall height is 45.95 mm. Maximum P.C. board size is 190.5 x 106.6 mm. Internal DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that accept #6 self-tapping screws are molded in, and the 1554UPL steel inner panel can be added.

The flat lid is sealed by a tongue and groove joint and a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose, and is secured with four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws. Four Ø4.30 mm wall mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also take the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554UL2GY ships at 0.69 lbs (0.31 kg).
