Hammond 1554UGY 200x120x90mm Gray ABS Watertight Enclosure

The 1554UGY is a general purpose ABS enclosure in light gray RAL 7035 with a 200 x 120 mm footprint and a deeper body: the ordering table lists a total height of 3.58 in (91 mm) and the drawing shows 90.50 mm overall. It is aimed at indoor electronics, controls and DIN rail builds that need extra depth for taller components or stacked boards.

According to the drawing notes, the purchased assembly includes the box, lid, four cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket. The M4-0.7 x 20 mm stainless steel cover screws have a recommended torque of 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m) and thread into corrosion resistant inserts in the lid. The gasketed tongue and groove lid protects against oil, dust and water.

Inside dimensions are 192.13 mm long, 108.13 mm wide and 84.50 mm high. The part page lists maximum P.C. board dimensions of 106.6 mm and 190.45 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts (accepting #6 self-tapping screws) provide mounting points, and matching accessories include the 1554UPL steel inner panel, 1591MM100 M3 screws and 1598ATS100 #6 self-tapping screws.

As an ABS version it is rated UL94 HB, is not UL listed, has been tested to and meets IP66, carries an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and is recommended for -20°C to +60°C. The 1554UGY mounts through four Ø4.00 mm holes outside the gasket channel (also used by the 1554FT foot kit) and ships shrink wrapped at 0.84 lbs (0.38 kg).
