Hammond 1554RLGY 160x160x45mm Gray ABS Watertight IP66 Enclosure

The 1554RLGY is the general purpose ABS version of the low-profile 160 x 160 x 45 mm (6.3 x 6.3 x 1.77 in) size in the 1554 Series. Its light gray RAL 7035 box and lid make it a practical, indoor-rated housing for electronics designers and panel builders who need a sealed, square enclosure for a flat PC board or DIN rail components.

ABS versions are molded from a general purpose material with a UL94-HB flammability rating and are intended for indoor use. They are not UL listed, but have been tested to and meet IP66, and carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. The recommended operating temperature is -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

The lid uses two piece tongue and groove construction with a replaceable, one-piece high temperature silicone gasket that ships loose inside the box. Four included M4 stainless steel screws are self-captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts. Inside the 1554RLGY you get molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts and PC card guides; the 1554RPL steel inner panel is sold separately. Four Ø4.30 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also fit the 1554FT foot kit.
