Hammond 1554MPB4 4-Hole 22.5mm Polycarbonate Pushbutton Enclosure

Four 22.5 mm operator positions in a 200 x 120 mm face make the 1554MPB4 a practical choice for small control stations that combine push buttons with a pilot light or selector switch. Built for outdoor, wet and dusty installations, it serves panel shops, OEMs and plant electricians. The 30.5 mm hole version is the 1554PB4.

The enclosure measures 7.87 in H x 4.72 in W x 3.56 in D with lid (200 x 120 x 90 mm), listed nominally as 7.9 x 4.7 x 3.5 in on the part page. It shares the 1554U enclosure body with the three-hole 1554MPB3, has four Ø4.00 mm mounting holes located outside the gasket seal, and ships at 0.95 lbs (0.43 kg).

Light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate with a UL94 5VA flammability rating is suitable for outdoor use. The lid closes with self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws into integral stainless steel bushings, sealing on a replaceable preformed high temperature silicone gasket. Internal DIN rail mounting tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts and standoffs for M3.5 or #6 self tapping screws, and molded vertical card guides for 1.5 mm PC boards give flexible interior mounting.

The 1554MPB4 ships with box, lid, 4 cover screws and gasket; recommended cover screw torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Options include the 1554UPL steel inner panel (7.60 x 4.20 in) and 1554FT mounting feet. It is rated IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, is cUL US Listed (E65324) and UL 508A approved, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
