The 1554J2GY is a 160 x 90 x 61 mm watertight enclosure molded entirely in RAL 7035 light gray polycarbonate. Its narrow 90 mm width suits elongated circuit boards, terminal strips and DIN rail modules for OEM, industrial and outdoor electronics builds.
The solid gray polycarbonate is rated UL94-5VA. This model is cUL and UL 508A listed under file #E65324, UV stabilized for outdoor use, and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and to NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021; the recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Per the drawing, the interior measures about 152.91 mm long, 77.00 mm wide and 54.50 mm high, and the largest PC board it accepts is 77.47 x 147.32 mm. DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in; the 1554JPL steel inner panel is sold separately.
Four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws clamp the tongue and groove lid onto a one-piece silicone gasket, threading into corrosion resistant bushings built for repeated service. Wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and double as the fixing points for the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.53 lbs (0.24 kg).
