Hammond 1554FL2GY 120x90x45mm Low-Profile Gray Polycarbonate Enclosure

The 1554FL2GY is the low-profile member of the 120 x 90 mm footprint family, standing a nominal 45 mm tall. Molded in light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate with a gray lid, it suits flat circuit boards and compact electronics that need a sealed, UL listed housing without the extra height of the 61 mm or 80 mm versions.

The drawing shows a 120.00 x 90.00 mm footprint and 45.45 mm overall height, with an inside length of 112.99 mm, inside width of 82.99 mm and inside height of 39.35 mm. The part page gives a maximum PC board of 108.4 x 77.5 mm. Inside you will find M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs, card guides for 1.5 mm boards and molded DIN rail tabs; the 1554FPL steel inner panel is sold separately.

The gray polycarbonate carries a UL94-5VA flame rating, and polycarbonate versions of the series are UV stabilized for outdoor use, IK08 impact rated and recommended for -40°C to +110°C. The part is rated IP68 and is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. The series sheet gives NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 for polycarbonate versions; the manufacturer part page for this item prints the final value as "12 & 39".

A two piece tongue and groove lid, a one-piece replaceable silicone gasket (supplied loose) and four included M4 stainless steel self-captivating screws keep the box sealed through repeated servicing. Mounting is through 4X Ø4.30 mm holes outside the gasket channel, which also take the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554FL2GY is REACH and RoHS compliant and has a shipping weight of 0.36 lbs (0.16 kg).
