Hammond 1554FGY 120x90x61mm Gray ABS Watertight Enclosure, IP66

The 1554FGY is the general purpose ABS version of the 120 x 90 x 61 mm 1554F enclosure, molded in light gray (RAL 7035) with a matching gray lid. It suits indoor projects where a sealed, gasketed box is needed but outdoor UV resistance and UL listing are not required, such as bench electronics, building controls and OEM sub-assemblies.

Per the series ratings, ABS versions use general purpose material with a UL94-HB flame rating and are for indoor use. They are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and have a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

The drawing gives a 120.00 x 90.00 mm footprint and 60.50 mm height, with 112.91 mm inside length, 80.91 mm inside width and 54.50 mm inside height. The part page lists a maximum PC board size of 77.47 x 108.41 mm.

Inside, the 1554FGY offers mounting flexibility:

• M3 brass inserts inside the box for PC board or inner panel mounting
• Standoffs that accept #6 self-tapping screws
• Vertical PC card guides for 1.5 mm thick boards
• Molded DIN rail mounting tabs, with the 1554FPL steel inner panel ordered separately

The lid seals with a two piece tongue and groove joint and a replaceable silicone gasket supplied loose inside the box, and closes with four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws. Four Ø4.00 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.37 lbs (0.17 kg).
